Normal tickets are almost never available last minute
General quota tickets on popular routes book out 30–60 days in advance. Our installation schedule depends on when your order is delivered — we can only know this 1–2 weeks ahead. Booking general quota that far in advance is impossible for a date-flexible job.
Premium Tatkal opens 1 day before — confirmed seats guaranteed
Premium Tatkal quota releases 1 day prior to departure and provides confirmed berths (not RAC or Waitlist). A professional installation team cannot afford to travel on RAC/WL — delays cause cascading scheduling issues.
3AC provides adequate space for a travelling work team
Our team travels with basic tools and equipment. 3AC offers secure luggage space, overnight travel comfort, and is the most practical choice for multi-city, multi-day work trips. Sleeper class does not guarantee space for equipment.
Why ₹300 extra per member on top of ticket price?
The ₹300/person covers: booking service charges (ticketing agent fee), auto / local transport to and from the railway station, and scheduling coordination time. This is the actual overhead cost, not a markup.
Premium Tatkal prices are dynamic — they vary by route, distance, and date. Final transport charge is confirmed when the team books tickets, 1 day before departure. You are billed actuals + ₹300/person.
About Train Price Estimates
Prices shown above are estimates based on route distance. IRCTC does not have a public API available for third parties without a formal B2B agreement (which requires company registration, security deposit, and IRCTC approval). We are exploring integration via AOPAY (an IRCTC-authorized API partner) for live pricing in future. For now, exact prices are confirmed when our team books tickets.
